Did you know that the clothing industry contributes to Climate Change? Fashion production makes up 10% of humanity’s carbon emissions and 85% of all textiles are thrown away yearly! What can we do? 

One way is to mend our clothing. Invisible mending was a common practice years ago, with menders aiming for the garment to look as close to the original condition as possible. Currently there is a trend toward visible mending, with the deliberate aim to make the mended area a statement in and of itself.
