We will explore surface hand-stitching techniques following Japanese Sashiko/boro/Kantha stitching traditions that are rhythmic and methodical. Through the use of contrasting threads and running stitches, we will create rich textures that engage your creative side and may be used in the art of visible mending.  You will be able to continue this process and add your own touches and precious up-cycled materials, if you like.
