To me improv piecing is like a writing a Poem.

There is nothing more magical to me than to re-assemble the “discardable” to make something whole again. It feels like a hug from a loved one. Improv piecing contains the experiences these lovely scraps have lived before they even reached our maker hands; think of the incredible process cotton goes through before it reaches us with a finished textile.

I hope you will join me as we explore what improv means to you and you create magic out of the unexpected. Sewing a few curves may be sprinkled into this workshop as a dash of glitter for your masterpiece.

You will bring your own scraps for this workshop but I will also happily share from my stash.
