There are some tools I always recommend when sewing “unfinished” seams

  1. Bohin temporary glue stick

  2. frixion marking pen

  3. rotating cutting mat

  4. Olga cutter in 28 mm and 45mm

    This block was not difficult to make but I also took my time ensuring that I was not in a rush.

  5. Mix and match fabric collections for impact.

Tracing the template on the wrong side of the fabric with a frixion pen, makes it easier to see the cutting lines, especially when you have a print with a lot of details.

I love these templates but the orange color can be difficult to see when cutting darker fabrics. On lighter fabrics is a lot easier to see to fussy cut shapes.

Top right hand side corner segment shows all pieces. The least used template is D for the longer triangle.
